It all started when, myself, Thyron Mathews (T) and my Uncle Ced teamed up with a passion - to make the best barbecue there is. With over 50 years of experience, we have been bringing my family recipes to all sides of Iowa.

The golden rule for our business was inspired by my dad, Thyron Mathews Sr. He worked beside Uncle Ced and always reminded us to be respectable: "Treat every person as if they are the most important person in the world," so we strive to provide the best experience we can to all of our customers!

Family recipes that passed down for generation were shared with us by my mom, Ms. Palstine Morgan. Our rubs and sauces, combined with some oak wood smoke, make it for the best tasting meat you will ever taste!
